We chose for our collection the functional membranes Dryway® and Dryway+®. We collaborated in the development of these two products, just to make sure that they would withstand and hold up to the demands put on clothes used when riding bikes. Where speed and wind challenge the ability of the clothes to withstand the wind and the rain. In general, Dryway® and Dryway+ ® have the same qualities, but Dryway+ ® is more flexible and will therefore keep its function even under extreme loads. This is especially important in areas like the seat and across the knees. The technology behind Dryway® and Dryway+® and other types of functional membranes work with the difference in temperature on both sides of the membrane. Heat on the inside is released as moisture to the outside, but the moisture on the outside will not get through to the inside. On the other hand, the use of heated grips will reverse the function – moisture will then be able to enter the gloves. This is one aspect to consider in the rain and instead, change to other, more suitable gloves to take advantage of the great material. The only object is to keep rider and passenger dry and warm, no matter what the weather is like. Only then can the rider put all his energy into the riding. This will make the riding more safe and more fun with it.
